Future Trippin’ Tour – Oklahoma Independent Living Life Skills Seminars This spring’s seminar, Future Trippin’ Tour, will focus on Career Planning. The seminar will assist youth in understanding the importance of education and its relationship to employment, knowing how to access educational resources, and developing a career/education plan. Finding and Funding Your Future – Oklahoma Independent Living Life Skills Seminars These workshops provide juniors, seniors and GED students with the opportunity to learn about career options. Particular focus is given to youth preparing for secondary education options. Youth are given the opportunity to learn about the process of applying to college/technical school, complete financial aid forms and understand how they could be supported in their education/career goals. In addition, former custody youth are available to answer questions and provide information on their own experiences in transitioning to college/technical school.
